What a wonderful image! I wish I could have it as my screen-saver--but I'm afraid it would put me to sleep. It reminded me of the video on Andy Goldsworthy--something with "Rivers" in its title. Slip a few pebbles in your pockets to bring home to me.

Your fish hooks sound fascinating. I'm thinking that with a barbed hook, once it has caught you, it has to keep on going forward until it punches through the other side.
